What You Should Know About REC Solar Panels

renewable resources

Before you buy a REC REC solar panel for you home, it is worth learning a little about the company. REC is a major supplier and distributor of photovoltaics product. Its products include multicrystalline wafers, solar cells, and modules. It is a fully owned subsidiary of Reliance New Energy Solar.

REC's N-Peak Series

The REC Group is one of the largest manufacturers of solar PV panels in Europe. The company recently began production of the N-Peak Black Series solar panels. They have a peak power of 325 watts. These panels are being manufactured at REC’s vertically integrated manufacturing unit in Singapore. The initial panels are expected for shipment in April. This is the fourth innovation in REC's product line since August 2018.

REC is a reputable business that has a history of making high-quality panels. Its products last 25 years and are highly durable. REC products also have a low carbon footprint. Certisolis has patented their technology and certified it as recyclable.

REC's Alpha Pure

Reliance Industries now owns the REC Group, a Norwegian solar manufacturer. The new Alpha Pure-R panel will be unveiled at Renewable Energy India in September. The new model is an upgrade from the Alpha Pure model that won the 2022 Intersolar Award. REC will also double production capacity in Singapore for the Alpha HJT product lines.

The REC Alpha Pure solar panels have a low environmental impact and are RoHS compliant. It is also lightweight and compact, making it an excellent choice for residential installations. It is also extremely lightweight and compact, making this a great choice to increase energy yield by making use of rooftop space.

REC's Pure-R

The Pure-R series is a new addition to REC's line of solar panels. It is based upon the Alpha Pure series, and has an 80-cell layout. The panels are now wider and more efficient than ever before, resulting in a higher power output of 430W to 410W.

Pure-R panels of REC's are distinguished by their low temperatures coefficient. This means they produce more electricity on warmer days. These panels are a great choice for warmer climates. Additionally, these solar panels feature the iconic 30 mm frame and two support bars, which make them strong enough to withstand heavy loads.

REC's 25-year power output warranty

REC offers a warranty of 25 years on solar panels. Before you file a claim, you need to be aware of certain conditions. First, get in touch with your original installer. This will allow you to solve any problems. If you are unable contact your installer you can file a claim through REC. The warranty covers labor and replacement parts.

REC's 25-year warranty on its solar panels provides a guarantee against degrading performance over the first 25 years. TwinPeak products have a lower first-year degradation rate of 3% to 2.5%, while its N-Peak panel has seen a 2% decrease in its first year. After twenty-five years, the final warranted power output increases to 85.5%, making it an excellent choice for homeowners and businesses alike.

REC's PERC cell architecture

REC's solar panels include the PERC cells architecture. PERC stands for polymer electro-resistive cells, and this particular technology enables panels to absorb more light. The REC Alpha Pure R series uses an 80-cell structure. This creates a panel that's wider and more compact than traditional panels. The efficiency of the panel increases to 22.3%. The power output of these panels has also been improved with the new design. It now goes from 410W down to 430W.

The PERC cell architecture uses a thin layer of passivation that is applied between the base silicon wafers, and the metal contacts. This passivation coating has holes, which allows for small areas direct contact between the wafers of the metal. This improves efficiency and reduces the risk of electron recombination.
